Support Services Manager

The person in this position will be responsible for team, competence and business development in the Data Platforms Administration (DPA) area. This is the area within which BitPeak provides its clients with support and maintenance services for solutions such as data warehouses, analytical and reporting platforms, specialised systems for advanced analytics (AI/ML), and others in accordance with the BitPeak company profile. The role offers the opportunity to work in an international environment and exposure to the latest technologies in the DataOps and MLOps area.

Responsibilities

  • liPoint

    Managing a rapidly growing specialist team in the DPA - Meeting with employees (1:1), planning development paths, setting individual objectives

  • liPoint

    Ensuring competence development within the DPA team in line with demand in the context of ongoing and planned services

  • liPoint

    Management of the plan for assigning staff to support and maintenance services for data platforms

  • liPoint

    Supervising and participating in recruitment processes and onboarding new employees

  • liPoint

    Setting good practices, operational procedures, document templates, etc.

  • liPoint

    Overseeing the high quality of services provided by the DPA team to BitPeak clients, as well as verifying customer satisfaction and keeping it high

  • liPoint

    Contributing to projects in the role of Data Platforms Administrator

  • liPoint

    Monitoring the market for tools and operational techniques specific to DPA

  • liPoint

    Developing an internal Knowledge Base for the DPA area

  • liPoint

    Sharing knowledge within the DPA team

  • liPoint

    Support of new customer acquisition processes for the services provided by the DPA team and participation in pre-sales and sales processes

Requirements

  • liPoint

    Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing a team of professionals (including teams of more than 10 people; as line supervisor, Project Manager, Technical Lead)

  • liPoint

    More than 3 years of experience in managing teams in the area of systems administration, 2-3 lines of technical support

  • liPoint

    Minimum 7 years' experience in roles such as Support Engineer, ServiceDesk Engineer, System Administrator, Network Administrator

  • liPoint

    More than 3 years of experience working with cloud services, in particular discernment and experience with data services offered by Azure and/or AWS platforms

  • liPoint

    Experience in planning and executing transition-in/out processes for maintenance services

  • liPoint

    Understanding and ability to monitor and account for SLAs for maintenance services

  • liPoint

    Communication skills, customer, cooperation and results orientation
